Axolotl Alex was a college student studying for his degree in biology. Although he was a dedicated student, he had a difficult time balancing his studies and his social life. His friends were always inviting him to go out and party, but Alex knew that if he wanted to get his degree, he had to stay focused. One night while studying in the library, Alex was approached by a professor who lectured in a course he was taking. The professor told him about an opportunity to join a research expedition that would be travelling to the Amazon Rainforest. Alex was excited by the prospect but also hesitant to leave school and his friends behind.
