Axolotl Gorthad had always been a curious boy. He wanted to understand the world around him and he was determined to do whatever it took to learn. He read books, asked questions, and explored the world in search of answers. One day, when he was thirteen, Gorthad stumbled across a strange old man in a dusty corner of the library. The man was muttering to himself, and Gorthad cautiously approached him. Gorthad decided he wanted to be an experimenter, too. He started to visit the old man every day to learn more. Eventually, Gorthad began conducting experiments of his own, using the skills he was learning from the old man.
